Ben Cramer, the multi-instrumentalist better known as Old Sea Brigade, has been spending a good bit of time in the North Carolina mountains in recent years, building himself a recording studio and enjoying plenty of tranquil mountain moments.
That respite turned into an album, 5AM Paradise, which comes out October 28 on Nettwerk Records. Cramer has given us a few preview tastes so far, including the title track, and today we get another sneak peek, “Monochrome,” a surprisingly anthemic ode to the tedium of adulthood.
