The East Nashvillian is excited to premiere Lydia Luce’s stunning new music video for her latest single, “Matter Of Time” today. The ethereal video was filmed in Lydia’s home state of Florida and is a conduit to start the conversation about today’s climate crisis.
Speaking about the song in more depth, Luce states, “This song was written during my artist in residence on Orcas Island, WA September 2021. The months prior to my time there the PNW was experiencing devastating heat waves. I was on the incredibly beautiful island immersed in nature thinking about the effect of climate change in that area. In that moment I was grateful to be able to be there and experience the beauty. I tried to stay present and really absorb it all because every year we are seeing changes to our world.”
